Martha E. Foltz age 96, of Fowler, IL died on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 3:40 a.m. in Timber Point Healthcare Center in Camp Point, IL. Martha was born in Hull, IL on April 16, 1925 a daughter of Archie and Theodocia (Morris) Smith. She married Albert R. Foltz, Jr. on July 5, 1941 in Kahoka, MO, Albert preceded her in death on January 22, 2005.

Martha had worked at Motorola as an inspector on the assembly-line, prior to her retirement. When she wasn’t working, Martha liked attending garage sales and thrift store shopping.

Survivors include her two daughters, Charlotte Wright and her husband Norman and Connie Owen and her husband Mack. One sister Mamie Meyer; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Archie Foltz, 3 brothers, Joseph, Lee and Virgil Smith; and 5 sisters, Rosemary Dicken, Juanita Vance, Norma Meranda, Freda Ward and Betty Walke.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum at Quincy Memorial Park. There is no visitation, but family and friends are invited to the services on Monday. Memorials are suggested to a charity or organization of the Donor’s Choice.
