Martha C. Mayfield

Martha C. Mayfield, age 61, of 1526 Chestnut St., Quincy, died on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 2:53 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born on December 17, 1952 in Quincy, a daughter of Dale O. & Carrie Lee (Edmondson) Raymond.

Martha was employed as a CNA at the Quinsippi Nursing Home and what was formerly Lincoln Hill Nursing Home.

She was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed playing BINGO, loved playing the lottery, watching movies and crime tv. She loved being around her family and adored her dog, Paco.

She is survived by TWO CHILDREN: Cliche Bell-Hill and her husband David E., Sr. and Terrell Bell and his wife Candace D., all of Quincy; GRANDCHILDREN, Whitley (Troy Vahle) Dominguez, Rahlaya, Michael Hamilton, David Hill, Jr., Dajion Hill, Roshawn Hamilton and Lakesia Hamilton; ONE GREAT-GRANDSON, Aiden Meado; ONE GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER, Kaylee Taylor; FOUR BROTHERS, Roy (Nancy Houston) Raymond, Walter Raymond, William Raymond, Michael (Racheal) Raymond, Sr.; and SIX SISTERS, Sheila (James) Miller, Deborah (Robert, Sr.) Burnett, Donna Bell, Lois (John) Embree, Sharon Lynn (Herschel, Sr.) Cooley and Pamela (Erie Howard) Raymond. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Sharon K. Hibbert and a brother, Kenneth Raymond.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Family.
