Marsha Mayes
Marsha Mayes, age 62, of the Lampe Hi-Rise, formerly of the Hotel Quincy, died on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in her home. She was born on October 25, 1949 in Clinton, IA. She was a member of The Crossing.
Marsha is survived by:
THREE SISTERS: Eileen Denahy of Davenport, IA; Lisa Epping and her husband Richard of Fowler, IL and Julie Grawe of Quincy
AN UNCLE: Larry Burlingame and his wife Mary of Davenport, IA
Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews along with other relatives also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mayes.
Cremation rites were accorded and memorial services will be planned at a later date in Iowa. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Marsha, I loved you very , very much, you were my stepmother for many many years, you loved my father so very much and I of all will truly, truly miss you.. I will see you when I come to heaven.. I always loved you.. your step daughter carol lee…
I think of happy times we shared
And then I softly sigh
