Marlys “Joanne” Cramsey

Marlys “Joanne” Cramsey age 80, of 3302 Locust Street, Quincy died on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 10:04 a.m. in her home. She was born September 10, 1933 in Sutter, IL a daughter of Edwin and Helen (Miller) Wollbrink. She married Donald “Don” Cramsey on March 5, 1955 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, he preceded her in death January 23, 1999.
Joanne was a homemaker, and she had worked in home health care and as a C.N.A. at the former St. Mary Hospital and Good Samaritan Home.

She was a graduate of Warsaw High School and received her C.N.A. degree at John Wood Community College.

Joanne was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. First and foremost she loved being with her grandchildren, she liked connecting with her family and friends online and she enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include her children, Mike (Carol) Cramsey; Steve (Carla) Cramsey; Cindi Cramsey; Cheri (James) Alston all of Quincy; Trudi (Kevin) Peters of Moscow Miles, MO;

Grandchildren: Mike and Greg Cramsey, Amy Maltby, Keith Rupert, Kelly Rogers, Paul and John Bradley; Angee Mercil, Jodie Smith; Stacey Tipton; Stephanie Mastin; Donna Cramsey; Timmy, Alyssa, Jason, Nicholas and Amy Alston; Nathan Peters; Aftan Storck; Tasha Olin; A1C Alax Peters and Kayla Peters.
A brother, Bob (Ret) Wollbrink of Fowler, Il and a sister, Joyce (Don) Haistings of Quincy;
Numerous great and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Dean Wollbrink.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Blessing Foundation for Hospice, the American Heart Association or to St. Francis Catholic Church.

    Aunt Joanne, was the sweetest …most gentle woman I have ever known. She will be greatly missed.so Blessed to to have had her all my life.
