Marlene “Terri” K. Peterka, age 82, of the Quincy Senior Center, formerly of 1237 Hampshire, died on Friday, September 29, 2017 in her home. She was born on July 18, 1935 in Aberdeen, South Dakota a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peterson. She married Robert Donald Alewel and later married Bernard Edward Herbeck they both preceded her in death.
Marelene moved from Belleville Illinois to Quincy when she was 32 years old. She lived at the Quincy Senior Center for the last three years.

She is survived by:
FOUR CHILDREN: Robert Arthur Alewel, Dawn Marie Alewel, Earleen Elizabeth Meyers, and Lisa Lynn Scott.
FOUR GRANDCHILDREN: Victoria Alewel, Nicole Alewel, Lindsey Alewel and Denise Lindblade.
FIVE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Kya Alewel, Dalton Turner, Emma Voyles, Jaden Alewel & Justice Alewel.

Private family services will be held at a later date. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Senior Center in Marlene’s memory.
