Mark S. Clinging
Mark S. Clinging age 60, of Quincy died on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in his home. He was born in Quincy on April 18, 1964, a son of Wilbert “Willie” and Evelyn (Fehl) Clinging, Jr. Mark worked as a chef at Tony’s and The Abbey in Quincy prior to retiring.
Mark will be remembered for his love of the band KISS and everything rock and roll. He loved collecting rock and roll memorabilia, listening to music, and attending concerts.
He loved sports including NASCAR and his favorite teams, the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, and St. Louis Cardinal baseball.
Survivors include his brother, David Tournear and his wife Rosie of Moline, IL; and a half sister, Angel Myers. Nieces and nephews, David Tournear, Jr. and his wife Julia, Todd Knight and his wife Christina, Michael Knight and his wife Pansy, Robert Gallaher and his wife Bettymarie, Rick Gallaher and his wife Andrea, Randall Gallaher and his wife April, James Gallaher, Lisa Gooding, Jodi LeMatty, and Christopher Gallaher; 31 Great nieces and nephews, and 24 Great Great nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Susan Gallaher Glore, a nephew Anthony Gallaher, and his fiancé Sue Riddle.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 1:30 PM in Quincy Memorial Park. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
