Mark E. Icenogle

Mark E. Icenogle, age 64, of Quincy, died on November 14, 2021 in Pittsfield, IL. He was born on November 19, 1956 in Quincy the son of Lilburn and Mary (Keane) Icenogle. He was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. Mark was a mill operator for J.M. Huber for a number of years. Mark was of the Catholic Faith.

Mark greatly enjoyed sports. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He liked to go mushroom hunting. His greatest enjoyment was family, especially the grandchildren.

He is survived by:
HIS CHILDREN: Jeff McGuire, Corey (Leigh) Icenogle, Thomas Embree and Steven (Kelsey) Icenogle.
GRANDCHILDREN: Shayne Icenogle, Kyndle Icenogle, Haylee Icenogle, Gage Icenogle, Selah Icenogle and Ephraim Icenogle.
SIBLINGS: Nancy Icenogle, Vicki (Terry) Hagerbaumer and James Icenogle.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Quanada.

    So sorry for your loss. I considered Mark a friend during my service at Huber. I was the IT guy, but interacted often with employees. Mark was always kind and considerate. I am sure he will be missed. Please accept my condolences in your loss.

    Our family wants to give our deepest sympathies to Mark’s family !!! Mike worked with Mark for years at JM Huber !!! They were great buddies !!! Especially, when they were running mills # 3 & 4 together !!! No more pain…..rest in peace Mark !!!
