Marilyn J. Beding

Marilyn J. Beding, age 86, of Quincy, died on Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Blessing Hospital due to a severe stroke. She was born on April 21, 1930 in Quincy the daughter of Conrad and Marie (Genteman) Altmix. She married Charles Beding on September 15, 1951. He survives.

Marilyn worked at St. Mary’s Hospital as an OB tech from 1961 until 1979. She then became an LPN and worked for Dr. Roy Olson from that time until her retirement.

Marilyn loved visiting with her wide circle of friends. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, going to the casino, and attending her grandchildren’s activities.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Rick Beding of Quincy and Lauri Eisenberg and her husband Merlin of Quincy.
FIVE GRANDCHILDREN: Christian and Hailey Mizera; Mason, Taylor and Jordan Eisenberg.
ONE SISTER: Doris Buss
A SON -IN-LAW: Tim Mizera and his wife Tracy
Numerous other relatives also survive.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Mary Lynn Mizera and a niece Chris Ruff.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 11:00 in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital or to St. Francis Catholic Church.
