Marian A. Scheufele age 86, of 1126 North 16th Street Quincy died on Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. Marian was born January 3, 1926 in Quincy, a daughter of George and Edna (Winking) Feld. She married Robert Charles Scheufele on July 13, 1946 in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1985.

Marian was a telephone operator and a homemaker. She was a graduate of St. John’s Grade School and Notre Dame High School.

She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and had been an active member of the Ladies of St. Francis. She was a member of R.S.V.P. for 25 years and the T.O.P.S. program for over 35 years.

Marian was one of eleven children, and throughout her life, her family was of the greatest importance to her. She was a baseball fan, and especially enjoyed watching her Cubs.

Survivors include her children, William “Joe” Scheufele of Quincy; James Scheufele and his wife Barb of Rochester, IL and Dory McNett of Quincy.
Six grandchildren: Aron (Erika) Scheufele of Edmond, OK; Angela (Nick) Scheufele of Carlsbad, CA; Andrew (Meghan) Scheufele of Milwaukee, WI, Kevin (Carrie) Scheufele of Springfield, IL; Darren Scheufele of Rochester, IL; Robert McNettt (fiancee Jackie Lohse) of Maryville, MO;
Five Great-Grandchildren, Olivia, Oliver, Jack, Indica and Madeleine.
Brothers: Ken Feld of Winfield, IL; Jack Feld of Edwardsville, IL; Mike Feld of Phoenix, AZ; and Roger Feld of Chatham, IL;
Sisters, Barb Koch and Maureen Durand both of Quincy and Pat O’Connell of Caswell Beach, N.C.
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Ed Feld, and sisters Eileen Klapprott and Jeanette Werneth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church by the Rev. Tom Fox, O.F.M. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis. Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Catholic Church or to Quincy Notre Dame.
