Mrs. Schutte and Mrs. Coens (LeGrand) were special leaders in the St. Mary Nursing Department with whom I worked with daily. They left a lasting impression on me of what dedicated professionals especially nurses exemplify.

So sorry to hear of your moms passing. My prayers are with you.
I was fortunate to work with her as a new RN at St. Mary’s in the OB Dept. I loved her and it was the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
She hired me for my first at St Mary Hospital. I was blessed to take care of her husband as well. Always a smile when she greeted us!
Kay sorry for your loss!
Words cannot express what she mean to me . She was not my grandmother but she was always know as grandma Schutte. We worked side by side at St Mary’s in the ODS dept. Every day was an adventure. When I was pregnant and quit sick she always reminded me that it will pass in 9 mos. Then we would laugh. Rest now my friend !! . To all the family
