Margaret “Tina” Elaine Lowary

Margaret “Tina” Elaine Lowary, age 81, of the Sunset Home, formerly of 805 Adams Street in Quincy, died on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 6:25 a.m. in the Home. She was born in Pickford, MI on September 15, 1936, one of ten children of Floyd Hamilton and Hattie May (O’Brien) Huyck.
Margaret was a homemaker, who also worked as a housekeeper.
She was of the Methodist faith. Margaret was a member of the Eagles and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. When her children were growing-up, she enjoyed their many family camping and fishing trips. Her time spent with family was her most treasured. She loved playing bingo, going dancing and shopping.
Survivors include her children: Billy (Linda) Bradley of Thompson, MO; Gene (Bernice) Oliver of Wellsville, MO; Charles (Kathy) Williams of Quincy; Sheryl (Terry) Mook of Hannibal, MO and Terry (John) Hageman of Quincy.
17 Grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenny Oliver, brothers: Frank, Melvin, Roy, Duane and Vern Huyck; sisters: Violet Earl, Mae Bawk, Hazel Markstrom and Cora Holly.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Disseler. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 at Duker & Haugh. Memorials are suggested to the American Liver Foundation.
