MARGARET L. REAGAN OBITUARY

Margaret L. Reagan, age 96, of 301 N. 8th Street, formerly of 909 Monroe Street, Quincy, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 7:55 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born January 1, 1912 in Quincy, a daughter of Frank & Anna (Bloom) Stegeman. She married Virgil J. Reagan on October 19, 1940 in St. Francis Catholic Church. He died on January 8, 2000.

Mrs. Reagan was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Margaret was a homemaker.

She was a volunteer at Ladies of Charity. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, & quilting, and she was an avid Cub fan.

Survivors include:
ONE SON: Thomas Reagan and his wife Mary Kay of Springfield, IL;
ONE DAUGHTER: Nancy Moyer of Mason City, IA;
SON-IN-LAW: Glenn Whittaker of Quincy;
NINE GRANDCHILDREN: Julie Lloyd of Springfield, IL, Jennifer Eschenbacher and her husband LeRoy of Wonder Lake, IL, Tracy Tuxhorn and her husband Ed of Springfield, IL, Kristin Andrews and her husband Aaron of Mason City, IA, Karin Moyer of Mason City, IA, Katie Brown and her husband Brian of Aurora, IL, Tim Whittaker and his wife Misti of Janesville, WI, K.J. Whittaker and his wife Julie of Quincy, and Lynne Whittaker of Kansas City, MO;
SEVENTEEN GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Zachary and Reagan Lloyd of Springfield, Jessica & J.D. Pletsch of Springfield, IL, Maggie & Benjamin Wrigley Tuxhorn of Springfield, IL, Alex & Robbie Eschenbacher of Wonder Lake, IL, Mitchell, Michael, Christopher, & Lauren Andrews all of Mason City, IA, Sophia Brown of Aurora, IL, Bailie & Drew Whittaker of Janesville, WI, & Ben & Gabe Whittaker of Quincy.
ONE BROTHER: Floyd Stegeman of Quincy
Nieces & nephews also survive.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Mary Whittaker, a son-in-law Jerry Moyer, & three brothers, Edward, Leonard, & Robert Stegeman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Monsignor Michael Kuse. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with a parish prayer service at 4:00 p.m.. Memorials are suggested to Ladies of Charity.
