Margaret C. ‘Chris’ Stump, age 70, of Quincy died on March 22, 2023 in St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was born on November 10th, 1952 in Quincy, the daughter of Chester and Joan (Spilker) Boden. Chris was a graduate of Quincy High School and Gem City Business College. She married Marion Stump on June 27th of 1974. He survives.

Chris was of the Catholic faith. She was also an avid fan of “Days of our Lives” and adored her pet chihuahua, “Mattie.”

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two children Kim Stump and Matthew Stump (Andrea) all of Quincy.
GRANDCHILDREN: Levi and Adison
SIBILINGS: Kathy Schneider, Debora Helmers, Tina Henaifesh, Jerry Boden (Pam), Roger Boden (Michelle), and Bobby Boden (Stephanie).
SISTER-IN-LAW: Vicki Boden
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents and Siblings, Brad Boden and Larry Boden; Brothers-In-Law Darrell Schneider and Nasser Henaifesh.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 31, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 30, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the family. Duker in Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
