Manuel Ramos Jr.

Manuel Ramos Jr., age 85, of Quincy, formerly of Queens, New York, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 surrounded by his family. Manuel was born on December 20, 1934 in New York, NY to Manuel and Raquel (Fulladosa) Ramos. He married Joan A. LaMuchio on November 3, 1958 in Queens, New York. She preceded him in death on January 28, 2020.

Manuel worked as a truck driver for Pepsi Cola in New York for many years until his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed woodworking, watching silent, western and war movies and deer hunting in his younger years.

Survivors include his daughter, Christine Sciallo of Quincy; four grandchildren, Davina, Tiffany, Angela, and Frank; and fourteen grandchildren.

Manuel was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Joan; his son Anthony Ramos and his son-in-law John Sciallo.

Cremation has been accorded to Manuel. No formal services are planned for him at this time. Arrangements are in the care of the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
