Mable Deveny Obituary

Mabel Deveny, age 91, of the St. Vincent Home, formerly of 1604 Maple, died on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 11:30 Am in the Home. She was born on January 31, 1917 in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Otto & Maude (Haynes) Rogers. She married Dan Deveny who preceded her in death. She was of the Catholic Faith. She loved to play cards & Bingo. Mabel also enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by:
ONE DAUGHTER: Geraldine Sheets and her husband Raymond of Quincy.
TWO SISTERS: Teresa Harris and Irene Christal.
A host of grandchildren survive including Raymond; Sandy; John; Gary, Paula, Donny, Gene, Debbie, Karen, Dickie, Arley and Johnny, Pauline, Lori, and Teresa.

Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Three children: Mary McClean, Irene Pipkin and Bobby Bush.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the family.
