Lucille Neisen

Lucille Neisen, age 87, of the Sunset Home, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in the Home. She was born on July 28, 1935 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Frank & Florence (Krogman) Mintle. Lucille was a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame. She married Richard F. Neisen on May 12, 1956 in St. John Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2007. Lucille had worked at D&F Stereo for some years.

Lucille was of the Catholic Faith. She was an avid CUBS fan. She loved her music and decorating for the Holidays. Her greatest enjoyment though, was time spent with her family.

She is survived by:
FIVE CHILDREN: Dewayne Neisen and his wife Jodi, Linda Mosley and her husband Mike, Tammy Meyers, Lisa Meginnes and Kyle Neisen.
GRANDCHILDREN: Kristin Rasche and her husband Zach, Nicole Leppke and her husband Mitch, Megan Altgilbers and Taylor Altgilbers, Jennifer Moore and her husband Steve, Jaimie Meyers and Kelly Meyers, Casey Meginnes and Morgan Meginnes and Mason Neisen.
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Emma Kate Rasche, Audrey Leppke, Madison Altgilbers- Hochgraber, Bentley Lankey, Naomi Altgilbers, Denzel Smith, Mackenzie Moore, Jordan Moore and Livia Wright.
BROTHER-IN-LAW: Charles Ebbert
SISTER-IN-LAW: Faye Mintle
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, Lucille was also preceded in death by 2 siblings: Mary Lou Ebbert and Frank Mintle.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until the time of the services at 3:00. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Lucille was a sweet, kind lady. Missed her when she left Sunset Apts. Sympathy to her family.
