To the Family of Sis. Lovie Marie Young:
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27
We the members of Second Baptist Church, Monroe City, MO send our love and condolences in the loss of your loved one.
Know that death is not an end, but a transition to a place free of pain and suffering. The word of God reminds us in 2nd Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
May our God of all comfort sustain you with all the love, peace, comfort and strength needed during this time of bereavement.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Pastor Gary F. Cartmill

To the Young family and Brother Maurice Crider. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Since we learned of the passing of Marie we have been with a heavy heart. Your mom and sister was a maternal figure to so many in our community. Ms. Young always brought much joy when she turned her smile toward you, then shared some of what was going on with you that you really didn’t even think she knew about you. I will always cherish the calls or the conversations she shared of how proud she was of you or a member of your family. Quincy has lost a very proud member of what we like to call our “Project Community”.
Family hold your head high as you celebrate such a great life with the community she loved and loved her. It’s impossible to think of her and not remember that smile and infectious laugh that ALL of you possess. That is a gift from Marie and Bill Young that we all cherish and remember. I for one will be forever grateful for the way your family embraced me and many of my closest friends. Marie’s thoughtful guidance has helped shaped so many more than her children. May she rest in peace. I am speaking for the entire community when I say, Thank God for such a wonderful, vibrant person.
With much love, we offer our deepest condolences…from the Eddie Fletcher family. (and Quincy’s ‘Project People’)
To The Young And Crider Families-You all have my deepest sympathy. I am so sorry for your loss. Ms Marie was such a vibrant, lively and beautiful lady! I’ll always cherish the many “chats” that she and I shared over the years. She was my “411” on people, places, things, food, life, men…the good, the bad and the ugly! I am so so Blessed to have had her as my witty, awesome friend-no matter how many miles or years! We would just kinda pick up where we left off! She will be missed but good memories last forever…
We offer the family our thoughts, prayers and well-wishes.
Dear Young family and brother Maurice,
We honor the long life of your mother and sister. It is sad that she is no longer with us. We will always remember her interest in her children doing well in school. She definitely made a positive difference for her community. God Bless you and best wishes as you add to her meaningful legacy.
I am so sorry for your loss. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
