Lorie Ann (Rosolik) Koons
Lorie Ann Koons, age 52, of 3004 Genevieve Dr., Quincy, IL, died on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 8:53 p.m. in the Blessing Hospital Emergency Room. She was born on October 29, 1962 in Michigan City, IN, a daughter of William Curtis & Betty Lou (Wilke) May.
She had a big heart and was a loving caregiver. Lorie played a very important role in the life of her great-nephew, Tyler.
She is survived by her siblings, Edward (Julia) Vinson and Kimberly Vinson, of Michigan City, IN, Tammy (Robert) Groendyke of Quincy, IL, William (Susan) May, Jr. of Laporte, IN and Timothy (Susan) May of Union Mills, IN. Many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews also survive
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Terry Rosolik and a niece, Amanda Rosolik.
The family has planned private services. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City, IN. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
to Loris’ family. our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you grieve this loss. my biggest memory of Lori is when we put vegetable oil on and went and sat in the sun. we looked like lobsters when we came in. I lost 2 days of work!!!!
