Lola Marie Hiland, age 87, of 6042 E. Covina Street, Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Peoria & Quincy, Illinois died on Saturday, July 10, 2010 in her home. She was born on September 23, 1922 in Moberly, Missouri, a daughter of Harvey H. & Nannie (Gola) Hudson. She married William T. Hiland. He preceded her in death in 1981.

Lola was a homemaker in Proctor, N.H. & in Peoria, IL.

She was of the Baptist faith. Lola enjoyed going out to eat with family & friends.

Survivors include:
ONE SON: Donald Hiland of Mesa, AZ;
THREE GRANDCHILDREN: Jerry Leas and his wife Charmin, Donnie Hiland and his wife Janelle & Billie Hiland all of Peoria, IL;
ONE BROTHER: Richard L. Hudson of Bethalto, IL;
FIVE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.
Several nieces & nephews also survive.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five sisters, Noreen Hudson, Edna Sears, Mary Smith, Faye Hudson & Wanda Allensworth, four brothers, Leroy Hudson, Johnny Hudson, Raymond Hudson & a brother in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, Quincy, Illinois. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Blessing Foundation for HOSPICE.
