Lois C. Dailing
Lois C. Dailing, age 81, of Quincy, IL, died on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 6:20 PM. in Sunset Home. She was born on April 22, 1937 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Lloyd & Luellen (Gronewold) Pryor. She married Floyd ‘Sonny’ Dailing on May 17, 1957. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2009. Lois owned and operated her own ceramic shop in Marblehead for over 30 years.
She is survived by:
A DAUGHTER: Cynthia Dailing of Quincy
TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Angela Kite and Justin Carlock and his wife Brandi
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Natasha Andresen and her husband Scott; Brooklyn Kite; Jeffery Brookhart, Jr., Tucker Carlock, Rayne Carlock and Elli Carlock.
GREAT-GREAT-GRANDSON: Brody.
ONE BROTHER: Lloyd Pryor, Jr.,
ONE SISTER: Linda Catlett and her husband Larry
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
In addition to her husband, Lois was also preceded in death by two daughters: Lori Ann and Linda Sue Dailing, a brother: Lee Pryor and a sister: Lynette Albershinski.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM in Quincy Memorial Park. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
I am so sorry to hear about Lois. She was one of the friendliest persons I’ve ever met. Your mom played a huge role in getting my mom, Kay, out of bed and back into the world of the living, after my brother died. I always loved going to the ceramic shop to see her. She was one of a kind & I’m so thankful she was a part of my life when I was young.
Cindy, we are so very sorry for your loss. I have so lasting memories of Lois from when I was a kid. May God grant you comfort and peace during your time of loss and sorrow. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Have Great memories of Lois when our Family visited the USA she and her family made us feel part of Her family she will always be remembered by us Lois and her late husband Sonny were grand people and be forever in our thoughts RIP

So sorry to hear about Lois passing. Hope it wasn’t a prolonged illness. Sonny will be waiting for her with open arms.
I took ceramics from Lois for years!! Loved her and what a spit fire she was. Her favorite saying “ Don’t make me rip your lips off”! God Bless her family.
