Lois A. Bliven, age 94, of Sunset Home, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the home. Born August 9, 1925 in Coatsburg, Illinois, Lois was the daughter of Everett and Mary (Schanholtzer) Bliven.

Lois was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had been employed in the Payroll Department for Moorman Manufacturing before her retirement. Lois enjoyed watching sports, fishing and going out to eat with family and friends. In her younger days, she loved to play softball and travel the United States with her sister Sue. Lois was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan.

Survivors include her brother, Everett Keith Bliven of Manchester, Illinois and four nephews, Richard Bliven, Shaun Bliven, Matthew Bliven and Justin Bliven all of Quincy.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sue Walden.

Cremation rites have been accorded to Lois. No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
