Verla and Alma:
I am SO sorry for your loss.
I just found out on March 6, 2010 that one of the nicest man in the whole world passed away and I didn’t know it. Cookie was always there for me! I was closer to Cookie than my own dad. It breaks my heart to know he is no longer with us. I so enjoyed all my times with him; mowing, playing with the dogs, etc. I am gonna miss him so much. It was hard enough to accept their decision to move….now to know I won’t be able to see him this spring/summer.
God Bless Cookie!
Alma I do not remembr meeting you the one time I was in Florida visiting my parents, Bob and Shirley Bruce. However, had 14 years of contact with Cookie by email. My mother and father thought so much of both of you and I cannot tell you what it meant to me and my family to be able to keep in touch with Cookie. Seeing him at my dad’s funeral was amazing and will always keep him deep in my heart. Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Much Love, Julie
I am so sorry to hear of Mr.Cookson’s passing. My thoughts are with the entire family during this time.
Cookie, we will miss you and so glad the pain is gone!
Alan and I would like to offer our condolences on the loss of “cookie”. He was a wonderful person. I can remember him most from growing up on sixth street and playing with Verla and Bruce.
Your family is in our thoughts.
Carol and Alan Moore
Our thought and prayers are with you at this sad time. I hope soon some of the pain of your loss will lessen and you will take comfort in all of the great memories that you have and the good times that you shared.
Thank you to everyone for their comforting words and joyful stories. Dad was a great father, a wonderful husband to my mother and one of the best friends any man or woman could ask for in life. We miss him so much.
