Linora E. Drummond
Linora E. Drummond, age 83, of 201 South 14th St., Quincy, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Monday, July 6, 2015 in her home. She was born on July 27, 1931 in Quincy the daughter of Andrew W. & Mae (Wright) Ferguson. She married Harold Lee Drummond on August 3, 1947 in Adams County. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2003.
Linora worked at the Sycamore Healthcare Center for over 20 years. She greatly enjoyed Bingo and Sewing. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Linora was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and a collector of his memorabilia.
She is survived by:
FOUR CHILDREN: Stanley Drummond of Conroe, TX; Nancy Baum and her husband Ric of Quincy; Herbert Drummond also of Quincy; and Robert Drummond and his wife Kim of Colony, MO
GRANDCHILDREN: Rodney (Lisa) Calhoun, Cory Calhoun, Clinton (CJ) Calhoun, Scott Drummond, Leslie (Tony) Bonilla, Tammy Price, Jessica (Jonathan) Imburgia, Tanya (Donnie) Peters, Carrie (Corey) Mixer, Jason (Meghann) Baum, Ryan Baum, Josh (Missy) Baum, Shawn Drummond, Travis Drummond and Courtney (Brandon) Grant;
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Brian, Brett & Cara Calhoun, Alex Drummond, Anthony, Kyra & Kaylie Bonilla, Ariya Imburgia, Michael & Matthew Peters, Cale Mixer, Kaden Culp, Hunter Kohl, Dylann Baum, Kynzie Baum & Riley Grant
TWO SONS-IN-LAW: Marvin “Sonny” Price and John Calhoun.
ONE BROTHER: Andrew Ferguson and his wife Lila
ONE SISTER: Audrey Andrews
Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
In addition to her husband and parents, Linora was also preceded in death by a brother: Lewis Ferguson, a Sister: Doris Godman and 2 daughters: Linda Calhoun and Evelyn Price.
There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Cemetery. A Memorial visitation will be held at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 9:30 until the time of the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
