Linda Sue Klossing

Linda Sue Klossing, age 62, of the St. Vincent Home, formerly of 1327 North 10th Street, Quincy, died on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 in the St. Vincent Home. She was born on April 20, 1949 in Quincy, the daughter of Arthur “Buck” and Bernadine (Goodwin) Edmondson. Linda married Lester Klossing, Sr. on May 20,1988. He survives.

Linda devoted herself to being a homemaker. She also enjoyed yard sales, taking rides, gardening and spending time with her family. She collected dolls and was especially fond of her dog “Taco Bell”.

In addition to her husband, survivors include:
FOUR CHILDREN: Theresa Huddleston and her husband Gene, April Klossing, Tracy Prewitt and her husband James and Kenneth Klossing and his girlfriend, Kim Stubblefield, all of Quincy;
STEP-CHILDREN: Lester Klossing, Jr., Alan Klossing, David Klossing, Danny Klossing and his wife Theresa and Gayle Stoll and her husband Dave.
ADOPTED DAUGHTER: Donnetta Stubblefield of Quincy
BROTHER: Allen Edmondson and his significant other Gina Clark.
SISTER: Carol Edmondson and her significant other David Rife
EIGHT GRANDCHILDREN: James Cowart, Kelsey Huddleston, Carla Huddleston, James Prewitt, Kristen Prewitt, Kenny Prewitt, Brittany Klossing and Jeremiah Humke
Numerous step grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Kenneth Klossing, Jr., brothers, Kenny Edmondson and Jimmy Edmondson and a sister, Donna McGrury.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. Dorinda Davis. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made To The Family.
