Linda S. Musolino
Linda S. Musolino, age 58, of 1225 South 18th, died on Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. She was born on August 18, 1956 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Roger F. & Virginia (Fredericks) Steinkamp. Linda was a 1974 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She attended Western Illinois University and Washington University in St. Louis. She later graduated from Quincy College with a degree in economics. She married James “Jim” Musolino on November 22, 2004. He survives. While living in Wheaton, IL Linda worked in banking. She later moved to Evergreen, Colorado where Linda worked as a volunteer firefighter. She then studied to become a Paramedic/Firefighter and later became Captain at the Littleton, CO. fire department. She was also a Paramedic in Las Vegas, NV. After Linda moved back to Quincy, IL she worked at the Adams County Health Department.
Linda was an avid gardener, liked to read and doing crafts. She was also a big NASCAR fan and a gourmet cook. She greatly loved animals, especially her dogs.

HER SIBLINGS: Ronald Steinkamp and his wife Bette of High Point, North Carolina, Kent Steinkamp and his wife Linda of Quincy and Judith Steinkamp also of Quincy.
Her in-laws along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 9:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 in the Church of St. Peter. Interment in Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society.
I just learned of Linda’s passing. She always will have a special place in my heart. I am greatly saddened.
