Linda M. Knight, age 72, of Quincy died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on December 27, 1948 in Quincy, IL. She was a graduate of Quincy High School and graduated from John Wood with an Associates Degree.

She loved to play Bingo and crosswords. She did have a spicy side and if that was missing, they knew she was not feeling well that day. Telemarketers often encountered her spicy side after a few moments of chatting with her. She enjoyed ordering gifts and things from catalogs.

She is survived by:
CHILDDREN: Justin (Kristin) Knight of Quincy, Tina (Wes) Powell, and Stephanie Matlick of Florida
GRANDCHILDREN: Jessica, Mercedes, Miracle, Taten, Cobretti “Coby”, John “Bubba”, Nathan, Karina, Kalib, Karly, and Skylor.
SIBLINGS: Sister Penny Casey, Linda Gilker, Carol Davis-Lair and a brother Ronnie Davis survives
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Kenny Edmondson and her parents.

Cremation rites will be accorded and no formal services are planned at this time.
