Linda F. Anders

Linda F. Anders age 57, of 826 Lind Street died on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 9:37 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. Linda was born April 23, 1956 in Memphis, TN, a daughter of Walter Bennett and LaVerne Benton.
Linda was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved to sing and be with her family.

Survivors include her mom, LaVerne Benton of Quincy;
Two sons, John and Justin Anders both of Quincy; a daughter, Lorna Anders of Joliet, IL;
Three brothers: Michael Osborne, Kelvin Osborne and Herman Osborne all of Quincy; Four sisters, Marva Henderson of Quincy; Brenda Dickerson of Seattle,WA: Luretha Rudd of Quincy and Angela Jackson of Seattle, WA.
Ten grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father and step-father, Amos Benton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. Orville B. Jones, Jr. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Donor’s Choice.

    I am so sorry for your loss. At times like these you have to learn to lean on your faith & try to accept that God has a bigger purpose for us all. May all the love that surrounds you give you strength during this difficult time. May you find comfort in knowing that there is another precious angel above us.
