Linda Dierker
Linda S. Dierker, age 81, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in the home of her granddaughter in Hannibal, Missouri. She was born on February 29, 1940 in Texarkana, TX.
She married Dewey Dierker on November 21, 1979. He preceded her in death.
Linda was a School Crossing Guard for many years. She was also a homemaker.
Linda attended the Glory Worship Center in Clayton, IL.
Linda loved her children and family and was greatly loved by them.
She is survived by:
CHILDREN: Connie Burton (Donald), Terry Garr (Sam), Danny Mayes, Donald Mayes, Carol Mayes, Gary Mayes (Marcy) and Bryant Mayes (Lekha).
SIBLINGS: Dorothy Stout, Kenny Copeland and Carolyn Sutton (Jimmy).
Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
In addition to her husband, She was preceded in death by her father Harrison Paul ‘Sleepy’ Copeland, her mother Esther Vashti (Quillian), 1 child in infancy, and siblings: Peggy McLelland, William Paul Copeland and Rita Kirvin.
Cremation rites have been accorded and private family services are planned. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
