Lillian F. Kientzle

Lillian F. Kientzle, age 82, of the Sunset Apartments at 301 North 8th, formerly of 2237 Spring, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 11:57 AM in Blessing Hospital. She was born on November 14, 1926 in Quincy the daughter of Fred & Lillian (Druffel) Kientzle. Lillian was a long time member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She loved to play cards. Lillian also greatly enjoyed fishing, decorating cakes, sewing and time spent with her family.

Lillian is survived by:
ONE SISTER: Marian Kayser and her husband Lowell “Bill” Kayser.
THIRTEEN NIECES AND NEPHEWS: Judy Baker and her husband Keith, Sharon Wood, Michael Wood, Jim Kayser and his wife Kay, Terry Kayser and his wife Carol, Connie Kayser and her husband Lyle Wacaser, Daniel Kayser and his wife Vanessa, Bill Kayser and his wife Kathy; Janet Kayser-Shirrell; Kevin Kayser and his wife Renee; Cindy Reichert and her husband Tim, Christine Kientzle and Fred Kientzle III and his wife Marti.
28 great nieces and great nephews and 17 great-great nieces and great-great nephews also survive.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Fred Kientzle, Jr. and a sister Loretta Wood.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 8:30 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 9:00 in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM with a Parish Prayer service at 6:30 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Catholic Church or to the American Cancer Society.
