Liam Nathaniel Thomas
Liam Nathaniel Thomas infant son of Keirra Purches and Barnell Thomas of Quincy died on Saturday August 12, 2023, at 10:55 a.m. in Blessing Hospital.
In addition to his loving parents, survivors include his maternal grandparents, Angela Lee and Keirre Purches of Chicago, IL. Paternal grandparents: Barney and Brooke Thomas of Quincy, and Rena Burnett of Champaign, IL. Maternal great grandparents Constance Purches of Chicago, IL and Ronald Willis of Arizona. Paternal great-grandparents, Deborah Davis, Gary Lewis, and Barney Blackman of Quincy.
Aunts and uncles: Barnez Thomas, Brinique Thomas, Breighlyn Thomas, Keirre Purches, Jr; David Williams, Narreon Lee, Jashaun Bentley, Shanyah Lee, and Kashanna Neal. Great- aunts: Marva Lee and Ebony Lee, along with many cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother Barbara Lee, an aunt, Angel Randolph a great-aunt Chanta Rideout Morris, and a great-great aunt, Faye Jones.
Private family services are planned. Interment will be Greenmount Cemetery.
Services for Liam are in the care of Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
Kierra and Barnell I’m so sorry you didn’t get to love on Liam longer. I know how excited you both were for his arrival.
