A wonderful neighbor! Generous with his time and always available to lend a hand. I will miss his stories and his neighborly wave everytime I drove passed his house. My sincerest sympathies to all of his family and friends. See ya on the other side, Leroy, my friend!

Leroy was one of the back row folks at Melrose. He always gave hugs and a smile. It will be strange his not being at church to greet me when we go back. Leroy will be missed. RIP Leroy

    Dear Janice,
I am so sorry for your loss. Seeing your Dad and hearing his sweet memories of the baby mice story warmed my heart.
    He was a great man.

I met Leroy and his wife way back in First Presbyterian days. The worship service was somewhat formal and I tried to be dignified. He’d grin at me or wink, doing his best to get me tickled when I was trying so hard to be dignified serving communion or taking the offering. Ever since, he could tell a story better than anyone and get me laughing so hard I’d have tears.
    He will be missed,

I have known Leroy for a long time. We went to church at Burton. Then I walked into Melrose one sunday morning and there he was again in my life. He always had a smile on his face and good handshake. I will miss seeing him at church. I am so sorry for your loss.
