Dearest Evelyn and family, I loved Leroy…everybody loved Leroy. When I started my career at DCFS Leroy was my mentor and we traveled to Pike County daily for a long time till he felt I was able to be turned out on my own. The very first time was a sex abuse case and I was so naïve…Leroy was a pro and I have a lot to be greatful for that I got to learn the ins and outs under his wing. There was always a joke and good times when he was around. He will be greatly missed by many. God bless you and your children….He was one of a kind…no one like him. So glad our paths crossed!

My sincere condolences. There was no greater advocate for children then Leroy. His work positively impacted the lives of so many young persons. Leroy was a great example to other DCFS workers and those of us working in the courts on how to care and provide for those children in the Juvenile System.
    RIP Leroy.
