LeRoy H. Hoover, age 74, of the Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, formerly of Quincy, died on Thursday, November 17, 2016 in Hannibal. He was born on March 4, 1942 in Quincy the son of Levester & Virginia (Viar) Hoover. He was a 1961 graduate of Liberty High School. Mr. Hoover was a machinist for Gardner/Denver for over 40 years. He served in the Illinois National Guard. LeRoy was a member of The Crossing Church.

His survivors include:
CHILDREN: Melissa Hinkamper and her husband Michael of Quincy; Paul Hoover and his wife Coralyn also of Quincy.
GRANDCHILDREN: Isabella Hoover, Kaydan Hoover, and Milagros Lorraine Mendoza.
FOUR SISTERS: Wilma Schreacke and her husband Donald; Dorothy O’Brien and her husband Butch; Shirley Clary and her husband Bob; and Phyllis Cutforth and her husband Donnie.
ONE BROTHER: Lester Hoover.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank the Staff of Beth Haven Nursing Home and the Second Floor Staff of Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Adams Co.
