He was a member of the Mart Heinen Club since its inception & was a season ticket holder for QU Hawks basketball for many years. He was an avid bird watcher & contributed data for the Winter & Spring National Bird Count for 25 years. Leo had a competitive side which Mary would see come out in their nightly games of Scrabble. Much to his family’s entertainment, he dabbled in poetry & was always willing to share his words of wisdom.

Leo’s life was one well lived. Our father had a great respect for Leo as a ballplayer and individual. Oh, the adventures and the stories those two shared. May you celebrate all that was Leo and know that so many others are as well. Thinking of your family.
Love to all of Leo’s Family & Friends … praying God’s arms of comfort around each of you until you’re all gathered together again.
