Lenora Haynes, age 63 of Sunset Home, formerly of Chicago, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the home. Lenora was born on December 17, 1956 in Louisville, Mississippi, the daughter of William H. and Mary K. (Triplett) Haynes.

Lenora was employed as a bus driver for Chicago Transit Authority in Chicago, Illinois for many years until her health forced her to retire. She enjoyed singing, dancing, bowling and skating. Lenora enjoyed expressing herself through fashion and was always regarded as a snazzy dresser. Most importantly, Lenora was a wonderful person and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

HER MOTHER: Mary K. Haynes of Louisville, MS
FIVE SIBLINGS: Jane Mitchell (Kelly Klingele) of Quincy, Tatiana Woeso of Fort Wayne, IN, Jacqueline Haynes, William D. Haynes and Corey Haynes all of Chicago.

Lenora was preceded in death by her father and a brother Napoleon Haynes.

Cremation rites will be accorded to Lenora. A private burial will take place at a later time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
