Leland J. Eberle
Leland J. Eberle, age 66, of 228 West High Street, Mendon, formerly of 612 Locust, died on Thursday, December 22, 2011 in his home. He was born on December 26, 1944 in Wayne MI, a son of Leroy Elmer and Anna Christine (Ebberson) Eberle. He married Linda K. Brassfield on July 8, 1965 in Quincy. She survives.
Leland was a painter and OTR truckdriver retiring in April of 2009. He attended Quincy Senior High. He served in the Army as a Sgt. from 1962 until 1965.
Leland was a woodworker. He had the ability to build anything including family. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, camping & rafting with his family.

TWO SONS: Thomas “Lee” Eberle and his wife Klancy, of Mendon and Sandro Arias and his wife Britne of Pittsburg, CA
FOUR DAUGHTERS: Melissa Arnold and her husband David of Ursa; Vicki Miller and her husband, Steve; Yvonne Eberle, and Kerri Kersey Eberle all of Quincy.
ONE BROTHER: Larry Eberle of Quincy
FOUR SISTERS: Patricia Burgtorf her significant other Chris Nolan, Sharon Holland both of Quincy, Karen Hollister and her husband Larry of Daytona Beach, FL; Vicky Johnson of Silverbay, MN
18 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Joseph “Joe” Eberle.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at 721 Spring Street in Quincy. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
