Lawrence “Larry” White, age 67, of 3133 Lewis Dr., died on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on November 30, 1950 in Arlington, Virginia, the son of Donald Joseph and Bettie Lee (Loveless) White. Larry married Rita Launer on March 23, 1982 in Reno Nevada. She survives.

Larry served in the US Army from 1970-72. He was a truck driver working for various local trucking companies. He was also a crude oil driver in Minot, ND.

He played golf and was an avid target shooter. Larry loved fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with friends.

In addition to his wife, Rita, he is survived by a daughter: Jennifer (Bryan) Cassens of Camp Point, IL; a son, Evan Anderson of Quincy; two step-children, Lori Geise and Tina Kadow; one sister, Patricia Stiefel of Virginia and one brother, Donald White, Jr. of California; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two step-children: Dennis Gaebel and Trina Reason.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Sunset Cemetery.
There will be military honors conducted at the graveside service. There is no visitation, but family and friends are invited to attend the graveside services.
