Lawrence F. Lehner

Lawrence F. Lehner, age 74, of 101 North 4th, Apt. 709 died on Friday, October 23, 2009 in the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL due to injuries sustained in a fire. He was born on December 18, 1934 in Quincy, IL, the son of Paul & & Rose (Clement) Lehner. He married Edith C. Davis on August 17, 1971. She survives. Mr. Lehner was a Union Painter in the Quincy area for many years. He was an Army Veteran. Lawrence was of the Catholic Faith.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Mark Lehner and his wife Barbara; Starr Geary, and Virgil Lehner and his wife Dawn.
TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Dolores Lehner and Mark Lehner, Jr.
TWO GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Lazarius Decatur and Coree Frasemer
ONE BROTHER: James Lehner
Along with other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Paul, Gene, Wilbur, Richard & George and sisters: Genevieve, Ruth & Virginia.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM in Greenmount Cemetery by Father Roy Bauer. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
