LAWRENCE EUGENE FEE OBITUARY

Lawrence Eugene Fee, age 67, of Sycamore Nursing Home, formerly of 1332 North 9th Street, Quincy, died on Sunday, June 1, 2008 in Kindred Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born on September 30, 1940 in Quincy, Illinois. He was a son of Wilson & Myrtle (Harris) Fee. He married Mary K. Straley on December 19, 1964 in St. Francis Catholic Church, Quincy, Illinois. She died on October 21, 1998.

Lawrence worked at Gardner Denver as a fork truck driver before his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include:
TWO SONS: Steve Fee and his wife Rebecca, and Tom Fee and his wife Denise, all of Quincy;
ONE BROTHER: Jerry Fee of Quincy;
ONE SISTER: Janie Kooken of Springfield, IL;
TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Nathan & Shelby Fee;
BROTHERS & SISTERS IN LAW: Sandy Straley, Judy & Glen Neisen, Cindy Duker, & Rick & Sue Straley. Several nieces & nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents & his wife.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. V. Lee Amsler. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to
