Lawrence D. “Larry” White

Lawrence D. “Larry” White, age 69, of 4212 No. 24th Street, died on Monday, June 11, 2012 in St. Vincent’s Home. He was born on November 24, 1942 in St. Charles, Missouri the son of Lawrence D. “Jack” & Regina (Kerkhoff) White. He was a 1960 graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He married Sally Jo Price on February 7, 1964 in Hannibal, Missouri. She survives. Lawrence worked for Quincy Soybean/ADM for 29 1/2 years. He served in the Illinois National Guard from 1962 until 1967.

In addition to his wife, Sally, he is also survived by:
DAUGHTER: Lynn Emerick of Quincy
GRANDDAUGHTER: Allison Emerick.
GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER: Avery Emerick.
SISTERS: Maxine Schrader of Peoria & Kathy McElroy of Ursa

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012
at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery with military rites conducted at the cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4 to 7 at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s
Association. The Duker & Haugh Funeral is in charge of the arrangements.
