Laura Pauline Dede age 94, of Quincy and formerly of Loraine, IL died on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Sunset Home. She was born in Hannibal, MO on October 22, 1926, a daughter of Alvin and Vera (Snodgrass) Guthrie. She married Chester Lee Dede, Sr. and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2000.

Pauline was a homemaker. She was a member of the Salvation Army. Pauline loved to read, play the piano, and solve crossword puzzles. She liked being outdoors and going camping and fishing. She began writing the story of her life, and had many stories to tell!

Survivors include her 2 children, Chester Dede and his wife Marilyn of Quincy and Sherry Lee Six and her husband William of Batavia, IA. Four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren survive along with many nieces and nephews.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 5 brothers and one sister.

Private family services are planned. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army.
