Larry D. Higgins, age 80, of Quincy, died on Saturday, May 9, 2020 in the St. Vincent Home. He was born on April 18, 1940 in Quincy, IL the son of Glen and Lucille (Carter) Higgins.

Larry worked in road construction for Diamond Construction for many years.

Larry loved vintage cars and animals, especially dogs.

Larry was married to Annis McClimen. From that union they had:
TWO DAUGHTERS: Becky Kurtenbach (Kurt) of Tuscon, AZ and Lois Brink (Dave) of Quincy.
Larry is also survived by: GRANDCHILDREN: Samuel Fernandez (Wendy), Alisha Marquez (Ruben), Timothy Kurtenbach, William Kurtenbach (Leigh), Melissa Klauser (Clinton), and Amber ‘Ambra’ Bowen (Bradley).
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Bella Rio. Lyrique, Marley, Kyre, and Everhett.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ronnie Higgins.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A private family graveside will be held at Greenmount Cemetery. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
