Kylee Brock Inman
Kylee Brock Inman, age 42, of 1610 N. 4th Street, Quincy, formerly of Kahoka, MO, died on Saturday, June 14, 2014 in his home. He was born on July 16, 1971 in Kirksville, MO, a son of the late Robert Dean Inman & Connie Jean (Gutting) Bertelli. He married Linda Pruett on June 23, 2007 at the Whitehorse in Quincy. She survives.
Kylee was in the construction business, working with drywall, painting and masonry. He learned his trade from the Shannons and Daryl Dean before becoming self-employed.
He was a lover of nature. He enjoyed fishing, trapping and gardening along with woodworking, internet gaming and cards. He was an avid swimmer and swam on the Kahoka Swim Team for several years. He loved listening to the Blues. He was a dreamer and never stopped dreaming.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his mother Connie Jean Bertelli & step-father Mike McKinnon of Summer Hill, IL; step-sons Derek Havens & Dakota Havens, a sister Klancy Eberle and her husband Lee of Mendon, IL; a brother Nicholas Inman of Minnesota; nieces & nephews Kya, Kamper, Dustin & Kayla; several step-nieces & nephews; Uncle Bren Gutting and Uncles Bud & Chuck Gutting. Numerous other family and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents Vaden & Bernice Gutting, great grandparents Earl & Lula Gutting, paternal grandparents Dave & Averal Malone and Virginia & Curly Inman, Aunts Veda Bogguss and Barb Banes and his beloved dog Mary.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Rocky Point Club in Quincy by Rev. James Leezer. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. with the celebration at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
