Kenneth E (Bub) Howlett

Kenneth E (Bub) Howlett of Quincy died November 10, 2016 at Blessing Hospital.

Kenneth was born to Darlene and Eugene Howlett on September 9th, 1959 in Quincy, Il. He moved to Southport, Nc in his 20’s where he worked as a painter and construction worker. He returned to Quincy in 2007 where he resided until his death.

Bub was one to live life to it’s fullest. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, watching football and nascar. He also enjoyed throwing hurricane parties while living at the beach. Anyone who got the pleasure of meeting Bub knew he was one of a kind. He will be loved and missed by all.

Survivors include sister Carol (Scott) Guthrie of Camp Point. Sister Chris (Bruce) Felker of Southport, Nc. Nephew Jason and his son Mason Howlett of Southport, Nc. Niece Ashley (Josh) Bittecuffer and their daughter Addalyn Bittecuffer of Southport Nc. Sister in law Jane Howlett of Golden. Niece Alyssa Crow and her sons Luke and Collin Crow of Lima. Niece Lindsey (Jason) Zwick and their children Brandyn, Emaly, and Logan Zwick of Quincy, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kenneth preceded in death by his parents, brother Steve, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

    Thinking and praying for the family. Kenny was such a kind, good hearted guy. He will be missed by all.
