Kellie J. Voepel

Kellie J. Voepel, age 52 of Quincy, died on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on November 5, 1969 in Quincy, the daughter of Luther and Kathleen (Kroeger) Kennedy. She married Jerry Voepel on June 23, 1987 and he survives.

Kellie loved her kids and grandkids. She also liked darts, concerts, going to the casinos, traveling, playing cards and the occasional ‘White Russian’.

In addition to her husband, Jerry, Kellie is also survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Jason Voepel of Colorado Springs, CO; Kymia Voepel (Austin) of Quincy and Brandon Voepel also of Quincy.
GRANDCHILDREN: Alyssa, Donnie, Kystin, McKenna and Jaxton to arrive in February.
SIBLINGS: Don ‘Jamie’ Kennedy, Shane Kennedy (Dee Raleigh), Paul Kennedy (Marilyn Deverger), and Bill Kennedy (Jennifer)
MOTHER-IN-LAW: Sandie Kroeger
Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends: Alice Smith and Julie Brady also survive.

Kellie was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 until the time of the services at 11:00. Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Jerry real sorry to learn about Kellie. She was a nice lady. Always enjoyed seeing Kellie and you at karaoke venues. She will be missed.
