I have so many priceless unforgettable memories with Keithia and her entire family. From the late 80s until now. From the first slumber party when y’all lived off of Payson Rd, to St Peter grade school, roller skating, to the unfortunate Ramen Noodle burn in the basement house at 18th and Washington St then to adulthood children and grandchildren being born. We may have not spoke everyday but we always remained close. Fly high my friend. Love you always.

I love my dear friend, Keithia. I am so sad to hear of her passing. We became BFF’s during junior high. She lived in a tiny house down Washington St. from where I lived. Her little house was full of life, joy, and laughter, which drew people toward her and her family. I have so many happy memories with her. I remember walking six blocks out of my way so that I could walk with the “cool kids” – Keithia and Jess Jones – to the junior high school building. I have faith that she is walking next to me today, in spirit. It gives a little bit of comfort to the huge hole she has left behind.
