Keith W. Hinshaw

Keith W. Hinshaw, age 62, of Payson, died on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 3:10 AM in Blessing Hospital. He was born on May 7, 1952 in St. Louis, MO the son of Harry & Eloner (Theurer) Hinshaw. He married Pamela Tournear on August 3, 1996. She survives.

Keith was a professional musician and played all over the United States. After settling in Quincy, he played in several local bands. He could listen to a song once and then play it note for note.

In addition to his wife, Pam, he is also survived by:
TWO SISTERS: Iris Rahubaka and Lynn Strain.
SISTERS AND BROTHERS IN-LAW, Richard & Georgia Tournear, Joanne & Calvin Spears, Linda & Paul Saunders, Leonard & Jeannie Tournear
as well as mother-in-law, Alice Tournear.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

He will be sadly missed by many dear friends and relatives. As Keith always said, “I’ll play any kind of music as long as it pays.” An avid St. Louis Cardinals fan – his favorite shout was “How ’bout them Redbirds!”

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 6:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Wishes of the Family.

    Pam I am so sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. I will always remember when you meet. Keith was a good person who would do anything for anyone.
    We had many a laugh together. May he now RIP he faught a long hard battle with his health.
    May you find comfort in knowing he was madly in love with you from first site.
    I am so sorry for your loss.
