Kay L. Fisher, age 81, of Quincy, died on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Blessing Hospital. She was born June 15, 1942, the daughter of Paul and Elizabeth (Johnson) Arp. She married George Fisher in October 1961 until 1983.

Kay worked at Moorman Manufacturing Company for 16 years and St. Mary’s and Blessing Hospitals for 22 years. After retirement she worked part-time at Walmart for 4 years.

When Kay wasn’t working, she enjoyed trying her luck at gambling.

Survivors include a brother, Gary Arp of Shelbina, MO and two nephews: Jeff (Susie) Arp of Paris, IL and their children Millie, Stewart, and Henry; and Todd (Brenda) Arp of Shelbina, MO and their children, Breanna and Carley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
