Kay F. Kaufmann, age 65, of 915 Lind, died on Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Keokuk Area Hospital, Keokuk, IA. She was born on June 9, 1945 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of Jessie & Mildred (Richardson) Hood. Kay enjoyed Fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by:

HER MOTHER: Mildred Shores of Quincy
THREE CHILDREN: Everett Warner of Quincy; Johnny Presley of Canton, IL and Victoria Powell and her husband Richard of Buena Vista, Georgia.
A BROTHER: Richard Hood of Quincy
TWO SISTERS: Marie Baird of Novinger, MO and Sandy Benson of Durham, MO.
ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 1:30 in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker and Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
