Kathy Marie Beaston, age 60, of 706 Madison, died on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 5:48 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born on August 2, 1957 in Quincy, the daughter of Robert T. Beaston, Sr. and Blanche Marie Powell.

Kathy worked in the home healthcare field. She was of the Baptist faith.
Kathy enjoyed barbecuing and camping at Whispering Oaks. Kathy loved singing karaoke and sitting outside listening to the “oldies”. She especially liked visiting and talking with friends and family, and get-togethers during the holidays.

Kathy is survived by three sons, David Dillard, Jr., and Jimmy Dillard of Ewing, MO; and Joseph Potter, Jr., of Macomb; one grandson, Jayden Dillard; very close friends, Melissa Riley and her children, Rachel and Corey Smith of Quincy; siblings, Robert Beaston, Jr., Steven Beaston, Tammy Beaston, all of Quincy; Debra Little of Thomasville, GA, and Byron Selsor of Hannibal. Many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Private family services are planned. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
